The Association 4+, an association of families with four or more children, expressed the need for school supplies for the new school year. The management of the Union of the Employers’ Associations of RS made the decision to start a fundraising activity for buying school supplies for students who come from large families.

During this action, we collected school supplies worth 5000 KM, and delivered it to the Association 4+. The donor operation was to include the following companies:

  • Bepro d.o.o. Veliko Blaško, Laktaši;

  • Ogimil d.o.o. Trn, Laktaši;
  • Exclusive lingerie Banja Luka;
  • Union of Employers’ Associations of RS.

On this occasion, on September 1, 2014, we held a press conference in the presence of several large families whose children received school supplies, and journalists were adressed by the Director of the Union of Employers’ Associations RS, Saša Aćić, and the President of Association 4 +, Jovan Radovanović. By organizing this action, the UAERS primarily wanted to assist students – elementary school children from large families that with all the accessories needed to start the new school year. At the same time, we want to emphasize the importance of family, motherhood and children, for society as a whole, as well as through the implementation of similar activities, to demonstrate social responsibility, emphasizing the positive role of employers in the community.

The Association 4+ performed the distribution of school supplies, of which a significant part for large families who live in areas affected by the floods – Bijeljina, Šamac, Doboj and other municipalities.

The Union of Employers’ Associations RS and Association of families with four or more children RS (Association 4+) will in future consider the possibility of developing further cooperation in the field of providing system solutions that will enable a better status of large families in society, with special emphasis on equality and improving maternal status of mothers with four or more children.
