Banja Luka – Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Republika Srpska, Public Institution Home for Children and Youth without Parental Care “Rada Vranjesevic” Banja Luka and the Union of Employers of Republika Srpska signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the process independence of young people without parental care and inclusion in the labor market, today, March 2, 2021, in Banja Luka in the Republic of Srpska.

This Memorandum envisages cooperation between the signatories in order to exchange information on the number and occupations of children without parental care, providing paid internships for each child without parental care enrolled in high schools in Republika Srpska, professional and material support of centers for social work for children and youth in the process of independence, as well as providing support to children leaving the Home or foster families for the period until they reach the age of 21 with the development of individual support plans. Also, the Home and Centers for Social Work in cooperation with the Union will provide professional guidance for children without parental care during the completion of primary school through visits to various employers and introduction to the way of work.

The signing of the Memorandum was organized on the 17th anniversary of the Union of the Association of Employers of RS and is in line with the Union’s commitment to be an active and socially responsible part of the community.
