The Economic – Social Council of the Republika Srpska was founded in 1997 by the special Agreement of the social partners. The existence of the Council is governed by the Labour Law – revised version (“Official Gazette of the RS” no 55/07), and a special law on Economic – Social Council (“Official Gazette of the RS” 110/08), which are regulates relevant to the work of the Council.
